Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and help build and maintain high-performance applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, a strong understanding of best development practices, and a passion for building scalable and maintainable software solutions. If you have experience with React, that’s a big plus!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.
• Background in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
